The 3rd Annual Veer Magazine's Local Music Awards presented by Starr Hill Brewing Company will be Monday, February 3, 2014, 7pm at The NorVA. Doors open at 6:00pm.

The Music Awards will recognize the talents of musicians in Hampton Roads and the Show will be produced in fashion similar to the Grammy and American Music Awards. Bands are given awards in more than 30 categories ranging from album of the year and best hip hop artist to jazz, metal, acoustic singer-songwriter, Americana, indie pop/rock and blues. 

This year’s music awards show theme will be "The Eighties.” Each performing band will be asked to perform a song from the much loved eighties era! 

Winners will be selected in this way: 50% from judging panel of music industry folks and 50% from voting online at www.veermag.com. Voting will remain live through January 25.
