 The Music Awards will recognize the talents of musicians in Hampton Ro
 ads and the Show will be produced in fashion similar to the Grammy and
  American Music Awards. Bands are given awards in more than 30 categor
 ies ranging from album of the year and best hip hop artist to jazz, me
 tal, acoustic singer-songwriter, Americana, indie pop/rock and blues.�
 �  This year’s music awards show theme will be \"The Eighties.” Ea
 ch performing band will be asked to perform a song from the much loved
  eighties era!   Winners will be selected in this way: 50% from judgi
 ng panel of music industry folks and 50% from voting online at www.ve
 ermag.com. Voting will remain live through January 25.   Congratulati
 ons and good luck to all of this year’s nominees!  Proceeds from tic
 ket sales will benefit Hope House Foundation.  After Parties will be 
 held immediately following the show at Belmont House of Smoke, Cogan
