Council Approves Plan for Professional Baseball and Tournament Facility
The plan includes bringing an as yet unnamed professional baseball team that will join the Atlantic League in 2015 as well as the construction of a 5,000-seat stadium and 17 new ball fields at Princess Anne Commons.
The Virginia Beach Neptunes might be the name of the city's new minor league baseball team.
