LOVE YAV!

YAV would like to take this opportunity to invite you to be our guest at this year’s LOVE YAV! event on February 11th, from 5:30 - 7:00pm. This early evening event will introduce you and the Hampton Roads community to Young Audiences of Virginia and demonstrate our signature Interactive, Arts-in- Education programming by our professional artists, as well as honoring the 2012 YAV Award Winners!

Due to hurricane Sandy, our fall fundraiser ARTOBERFEST, was cancelled. Now it is time to LOVE YAV! during Valentine’s Week. What a great way to spend time with your loved one, enjoy great food, drink, the Arts, and demonstrate your love for what YAV does every day throughout all schools!

We want to show the love to our 2012 YAV Award winners. Judy Thaler will be awarded the 2012 Volunteer of the Year, Portsmouth General Hospital Foundation the 2012 Funder of the Year, Joseph Salzberg the 2012 Teaching Artist of the Year, and the 2012 Ensemble of the Year, recipient is Core Theater.

Enjoy Bite’s hor d’oeuvres and an Open Bar sponsored by Wall, Einhorn, & Chernitzer P.C. from 5:30 - 6:00pm, followed by our Interactive Arts-in-Education program from 6:00 - 7:00pm.

Yes, this is a fundraiser, too! Since Sandy evacuated our fall fundraiser, we want to give our current and new funders the opportunity to consider making a contribution at the conclusion of the event. There is no minimum or maximum gift requested. As much as anything, we truly would like you to come and learn more about the dynamic and interactive education programs Young Audiences is providing for over 200,000 children each year throughout Virginia!
