Jazz breaks vol.1, a journey on the history and evolution of the jazz & hiphop co-existence/infusion. The "ode d' bluenote" set takes you down the road of the most samples jazz artists of all time to the forgotten and unheard of funkier choice cuts to get ya' noggin' bobbin' like your riding a toboggan.
The mix will be prefaced by a 10-15 (maybe 20 depending on how nervous i am.) minute miniature lecture labeled, "the baton passing", a history and education of using america's first artform(jazz) to further the birth and self education of another (hiphop) through means of production and djaying. food for the brain. come and get it.
