Music for recording artists Lana Puckett and Kim Person has been a life long passion since early childhood. Each artist brings a uniquely different musical and vocal style to the duo as well as both being multi-instrumentalists.

Their career together has garnered an impressive array of awards such as Best Traditional Female Vocalist for the state of Virginia, Country Vocalist Winners of the American Songwriter/Columbia Recording Artist Search, First Place Songwriter Awards from The Austin, Texas Songwriters Group and four time Kerrville New Folk Winners.

They have toured extensively across the United States, British Columbia and performed on two boat cruises to Mexico for Carnival Cruise Lines. They have shared the spotlight as opening act for well known artists such as Janis Ian, Pam Rose, Chuck Pyle, The Kingston Trio, Patty Larkin and numerous other musical legends.

In 1999 their original song "Cornstalk Pony" was recorded by the legendary songwriter/artist Steve Gillette on his Texas to Tennessee CD and released on the Compass/Rose label.

Lana and Kim have released award winning recordings on the Cimirron/Rainbird label. Windows of Life released in 1993 features award winning original songs written by the duo and some cover songs requested by their fans. At Christmas the Heart Goes Home showcases beautiful vocal and instrumental arrangements of Christmas favorites as well as some great original songs written by some of their favorite singer/songwriter friends. The Gift offers some beautiful traditional songs such as "Bleak Midwinter" and "O Come O Emmanuel" along with some other Holiday standards.
