 of awards such as Best Traditional Female Vocalist for the state of Vi
 rginia, Country Vocalist Winners of the American Songwriter/Columbia R
 ecording Artist Search, First Place Songwriter Awards from The Austin,
  Texas Songwriters Group and four time Kerrville New Folk Winners.\nTh
 ey have toured extensively across the United States, British Columbia 
 and performed on two boat cruises to Mexico for Carnival Cruise Lines.
  They have shared the spotlight as opening act for well known artists 
 such as Janis Ian, Pam Rose, Chuck Pyle, The Kingston Trio, Patty Lark
 in and numerous other musical legends.\nIn 1999 their original song \"
 Cornstalk Pony\" was recorded by the legendary songwriter/artist Steve
  Gillette on his Texas to Tennessee CD and released on the Compass/R
 ose label.\nLana and Kim have released award winning recordings on the
  Cimirron/Rainbird label. Windows of Life released in 1993 features 
 award winning original songs written by the duo and some cover songs r
 equested by their fans. At Christmas the Heart Goes Home showcases b
 eautiful vocal and instrumental arrangements of Christmas favorites as
  well as some great original songs written by some of their favorite s
 inger/songwriter friends. The Gift offers some beautiful traditional
  songs such as \"Bleak Midwinter\" and \"O Come O Emmanuel\" along wit
