Great Neck/London Bridge Road Ramp to Open

The new ramp to I-264 from Great Neck/London Bridge Road is scheduled to open on February 8th. This ramp was designed to relieve some of the traffic backups that usually happen at rush hour at Lynnhaven Parkway and to a lesser extent, Laskin Road. It should also relieve some of the backups that occur at Virginia Beach Blvd. (eastbound) turning north onto Great Neck Road as well as Virginia Beach Blvd. (westbound) turning south on Lynnhaven Parkway. 

As always, please pay extra attention when entering and exiting I-264 because a new on and off ramp can present a whole new set of challenges.
