Giving Party - Benefit for Samaritan House

Not to mention, the joy that fills your heart to know that you played a part in helping to make someone elses Christmas a little brighter!!

Here is some info about Samaritan House-

Samaritan House is Hampton Roads’ trusted domestic violence resource offering services to stop violence with education and training, safety planning and court assistance; and services to heal violence with counseling, support groups, children’s programs and more. Samaritan House is Virginia's largest emergency housing provider serving the community since 1984. Samaritan House is committed to fostering personal safety, growth and self-sufficiency in adults and their children through the freedom from domestic abuse and homelessness.

Since 1984, Samaritan House has provided emergency housing, transitional housing, and community outreach to victims of domestic violence and homeless families. We operate 11 emergency shelter houses, 10 transitional housing units, and 27 affordable apartment units. In our emergency and transitional programs we shelter about 110 people per night as well as providing affordable housing at fair market value Our children’s program works with our youth (approximately 65% of the people we serve) to establish healthy relationships, build self-confidence, increase academic performance, and ultimately break the cycles of violence and homelessness.
