Surf's Up for a Cause! Join us for the Fifth Annual Surfers Healing 5K at the Beach 2011; voted by active.com as one of the top ten beachside races to run in this summer! Become a FUND-RAISING PARTICIPANT by asking your family, friends, and neighbors to sponsor you for a set amount. Fund-Raising Participants will be eligible to win the following awards: Surfers Healing Cinch Back, Beach Towel, Beach Cooler, or Duffle Bag. The individual raising the most funds overall will win a 16GB Ipod Nano! Proceeds from this event will benefit two organizations; Surfers Healing Virginia Beach, an organization that seeks to enrich the lives of children with autism and the lives of their families by exposing them to the unique experience of surfing and the incredible healing powers of the sea and the Autism Society, Tidewater Virginia, a locally funded organization that helps local family facing autism.
