3rd Annual Extortion 17 Memorial Ride

The Extortion 17 Memorial Ride is dedicated to the memory of 30 active duty military and 1 military working dog killed in action on August 6, 2011. Extortion 17 was the CH-47 helicopter shot down by enemy fire in Afghanistan on August 6, 2011. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to "The 31 Heroes Project", (www.31heroes.com). Extortion 17 Memorial Ride is hosting the second annual fundraiser on August 3, 2013.

Registration will be from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm at Lendy's Cafe at 1581 General Booth Blvd in Virginia Beach, VA. 

At 12:00 pm we will have a police escort to Blue Pete's Restaurant at 1400 N. Muddy Creek Road in Virginia Beach.

Around 1:00 pm we will begin our commemoration of our fallen heroes which will be followed by live music by local bands Herbie D and the Dangerman and Freedom Hawk, food and drinks, and a live auction.
