22nd Annual Wine by Design: Sparkle! to Benefit Art Education 


Virginia Beach, VA –It’s all about the jewelry—and the children—at the 22nd Annual Wine by Design: Sparkle!, taking place on Friday, February 22, 2013, at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. The fundraiser, presented by Atlantic Shores Retirement Community, will feature domestic and imported wines and craft beer, along with an array of fine cuisine provided by Eurasia, Salacia, Pasha Mezze, and other local restaurants. Attendees will enjoy live entertainment and deejay spun tunes, watch jewelry artists at work, and have an opportunity to buy some spectacular jewelry in the glittering silent auction. Wear your brightest bling and gems and browse MOCA’s new exhibition Out of the Box: Trends in Contemporary Jewelry. All proceeds from Wine by Design benefit the museum’s education programs that reach an average of 25,000 youth annually through Outreach, Art Camp, Student Art Start, and other programs. MOCA provides many free and reduced cost programs for underserved youth.
