EXPLODING SUN AT SOUTH BEACH GRILL

Exploding Sun is a 3 piece alternative rock trio that hails from Hampton Roads, Virginia. Lead singer, guitar player Tom Habich is a transplant from the the NYC club scene ala CBGB's, the Cat Club and Kenny's Castaways. Tom is joined by bass player Mike Perez and drummer Trip Darden.
Exploding Sun has appeared up and down the East Coast and will be featured with national recording artists, Tonic on May 22, 2010 in Chesapeake, VA. Exploding Sun has appeared on local television and radio programming and is considered to be one of Virginia's top original bands. Exploding Sun also has a unique blend of cover songs that they perform in many local venues. Their music can be described as a combination of Hendrix meets U2 meets Social Distortion. Evocative lead vocals plus searing lead guitar meld tight rhythms and deep grooves. A new EP is currently in the works. Stay tuned as the best of Exploding Sun has yet to come.
