 is a transplant from the the NYC club scene ala CBGB's, the Cat Club a
 nd Kenny's Castaways. Tom is joined by bass player Mike Perez and drum
 mer Trip Darden.\nExploding Sun has appeared up and down the East Coas
 t and will be featured with national recording artists, Tonic on May 2
 2, 2010 in Chesapeake, VA. Exploding Sun has appeared on local televis
 ion and radio programming and is considered to be one of Virginia's to
 p original bands. Exploding Sun also has a unique blend of cover songs
  that they perform in many local venues. Their music can be described 
 as a combination of Hendrix meets U2 meets Social Distortion. Evocativ
 e lead vocals plus searing lead guitar meld tight rhythms and deep gro
