Know where to go!

Tonight, the best bet for local rockin' and rollin' is Scotty Quixx, where The Influence will be bringing their awesome live show to the Granby Street crowd. If you've never seen these guys, you should know that there will be extremely tight musicianship, a bullhorn, and possibly some shirtless dudes on stage.

Friday night, it's time for the VBNIGHTLIFE.COM PARTY BUS!!! The ALL NEW bus features a Large 42" Direct TV and BAR STOCKED WITH BEER and LIQUOR, featuring PENTHOUSE CLEAR ENERGY DRINK

MIXERS. The bus, which seats 20, will leave from South Beach Grill at 8, stop at Shuckers and Clutch and a few others before landing back at South Beach for 10 Spot. There are still tickets left, which are $45 per person or $75 for 2. Call Scott 757-406-3426 or Nicole 757-652-0808

If you're not a Party Bus kinda person, you should definitely stop into Lendy's to hear Spacer. These guys just recently started playing again after almost a decade hiatus. You'll hear a few covers, and their original stuff sounds like a cross between The Replacements and Cracker. The show starts around 9:30. Buy the drummer a beer!Saturday night, the big event is gonna be The Noblemen Red Hot Valentine's Ball at The Old Cavalier. There will an open bar and live music from Full Circle, Vinyl Headlights, and Pete Hansen with Larry Emmanuel. And all proceeds benefit local children's charities. Tickets are $125, but for the big ballers, there are room packages for $500. http://www.vbnightlife.com/events/noblemen-red-hot-valentines

Saturday is also opening night of Don Giovanni at the Harrison Opera House. Yeeeaaah dawg. ROCK ON!

Looking for something a little more low-key? Take your Valentine to New Moon Cafe this weekend. Kevin Kelley is playing Saturday night, and Sunday night, there will be a special 3 course fireside Valentine's dinner, followed hopefully by you getting laid!

So many Valentine's Day options! Join us for NASCAR DAY at 15th Street Raw Bar for FREE Pool and Happy Hour drink prices all day! Then hit South Beach Grill for Borderline Crazy, if you're more of a rockin' romantic. http://www.vbnightlife.com/events/borderline-crazy-south-beach

If you're into getting fancied up, go see the Virginia Symphony Orchestra's "My Classic Valentine" concert featuring music from all kinds of romantic operas.

And don't let the weekend end when the weekend ends. Have some mid-week fun with Butter at South Beach Grill on Wednesday. And be sure to congratulate drummer Scott Travis, who just won a Grammy with Judas Priest. Yeah, that Judas Priest. http://www.vbnightlife.com/events/butter-south-beach-grill-3

As always, party responsibly and tip well!
