Know where to go!

The old Cavalier hotel in Virginia Beach was the perfect setting Saturday night for the romance themed Red Hot Ball hosted by the Noblemen. The elegant black tie affair raised money for Noblemen initiatives that support children in our community throughout the year. As I arrive on the red carpet I am escorted up the stairs and into the lobby of the hotel on the arm of a tuxedo clad Nobleman. The lobby ceiling is covered with hundreds of red balloons and the classic architectural details of the 1920’s hotel accented by Valentine décor and candlelight.
This annual event offered the music of three bands, dancing, top-shelf open bar and a fabulouselcious open bar and a hildren of Hampton Roads. ell came out to enjoy the evning dinner featuring seared yellow fin tuna and hand carved roast beef. Decadent desserts included dark and white chocolate fountains with fresh strawberries. As you might expect there were many couples on hand but lots of singles also came out to enjoy the evening. top-shelf open bar and a wonderful dinner of seared tuna, hand carved roast beef
The local chapter of the Noblemen is a group of approximately 180 volunteers who come together to develop and support programs dedicated to helping the children of Hampton Roads. They host a variety of fundraising events throughout the year including; Oktoberfest, Kentucky Derby party, Golf Tournaments, An Evening with Gods and Goddesses and much more. In our current economy it is more important than ever to help support local charities in any way we can. So if you spent this Valentine’s weekend in a crowded restaurant remember next year to treat that someone special to a truly memorable evening and feel good about giving back.
