Brothers came to be in 1979 in Virginia Beach. I had been performing
a single act at Ocean Eddie's on the Pier. After meeting a young and d
ynamic Bass Player(Scott King) a duo was formed. The original Snards w
as a duo and remained as such for about 3 years. Then another guitari
st was added and remained a trio for a few years and eventually I adde
d drums and the Snard Brothers Band has remained at least a four piece
act. Now for the Cajun Crawfish Festival there will be six musicians
on stage. Three of the members have been Snards for a long time. The
other three are being Snardized for the first time; however, we know e
ach and are familiar with one another's work. I have been blessed ove
r the years to have had the oppertunity to work with the best musician
s and entertainers that Tidewater has had to offer! The reputation of
the Snards as always being entertaining was built on the caliber of mu
sician on the stage with me. People hired me, and they trusted that
I would provide them with a jam up show. To my knowledge I have ne
ver let down anyone that has hired the Snard Brothers Band. The music
or tunes for this show is a good mixture of peoples favorites over th
e years and danceable.\"\n \nThe Virginia Beach Youth Service Club is
a 501c3 non profit organization which has been has been active for 42
years raising money for charities in Virginia Beach, Va. As of 2012,
we have raised over $1.7 million for charities such as Equi Kids, Boy
s and Girls Club, Seton House and CASA just to name a few. Our organi
zation consists of appx 100 volunteer members who meet bi monthly from
September thru May to discuss business and plan fundraisers in our a
rea. We are very proud of what we do and will continue to raise money
for children 18 years and younger in our comminity for many years to
 come.\n\nFor more information visit https://vbnightlife.com/events/you
