Event Description

We don't care what anyone says! It's still summer in our hearts. And we don't care if the temperature dropped a little! Don't put on more clothes!

So, here we are again. Sorry we didn't hit you with the written update last week, but here's hoping you enjoyed the video...the fabulous Luke Barton is creating another one as we speak so look for it!

This weekend, help a wonderful local family help countless others. Josh Thompson's mother will be holding QUILTS FOR A CURE http://www.vbnightlife.com/events/quilts-for-a-cure tonight, and the JT walk is on Sunday. Come help fight ALS, and have some fun while you're at it. http://www.JTwalk.org ;

At the JT Walk, sign up to be on the VBNightlife Team! You can either dress as Tacky Tourists (like the VBnightlife and Gooch Camp team, or wear one of our t-shirts. For details on the event and to sign up for our team click here: http://www.vbnightlife.com/events/this-sunday-jt-walk-and-beach

And on Friday night, there's another ALS fundraiser, but this one's a partaaaaaayyyyyyyyy. Side Street Cantina will be offering up all kind of fun, and even raffling off a Lost Surfboard! http://www.vbnightlife.com/events/als-fundraiser-side-street

Also Friday night, you can go see a Virginia punk legend! Tim Barry, the former singer of Richmond's Avail, has been churning out awesome acoustic folk music with a Fist City attitude for a few years now. You won't want to miss this ... "Lordy, Lordy, Lordy, don't you knooooow..." For a complete list of events Friday night click here: http://www.vbnightlife.com/events/all-events-click-here-97

Everyone loves boobies, right? Well, come do your part to protect and save them on Saturday. The Bosom Buddies Bike Ride is raising money for breast cancer research, and they are offering rides for people of all skill levels. http://www.vbnightlife.com/events/virginia-beach-bosom-buddies

Saturday night is gonna be bittersweet. We have to bid farewell to a VB institution. How many memories have you made at the Jewish Mother? Too many to count for us. So come show some love at the JewMom's last night at the Oceanfront location. The Farewell Bash will feature music from Jesse Chong, The Polo Opto, and Carbon Jam. http://www.vbnightlife.com/events/the-jewish-mother-farewell

Then, if you wanna dance the tears away, stop in at Side Street Cantina for DJ Aegy. We'll dance with you. If you're lucky. For all events Saturday night click here: http://www.vbnightlife.com/events/all-events-click-here-55

On Sunday, after the JT Walk, there's an awesome event just for the kids! Bring the little ones to King Neptune's Treasure Hunt. http://www.vbnightlife.com/events/for-kids-king-neptunes

And after that, get a babysitter because the party's going down at South Beach Grill with James Deans! Ladies, we're not sure if he's quite as dreamy as the original James Dean, but you can drink until he is! http://www.vbnightlife.com/events/james-deans-south-beach-grill

Never drink and drive! Hit up AA Beach Cab at 757-422-3262 and mention VBnightlife for your 20% discount. Be sure to check out all the other Hot Deals of the Day on our site! http://www.vbnightlife.com/page/hot-deals-1 ;

As always, party responsibly and tip well!
