Hello, nightlifers! Hope you've been lucky enough to enjoy some of this delicious weather. This is the best time of the year for partying and carousing. The air's a little sweeter, nights are a little warmer, chicks' outfits are a little sluttier ...
Well, to be honest, most of us are teary-eyed and coughing from the pollen, but YOU LADIES SILL LOOK DOPE!
So why don't some of you (even the guys) meet us out at Side Street Cantina tonight. Bryan Dunn will be shredding some strings in the style of SRV, Clapton, and tons of other blues/rock greats. Souunnds kinda like drinkin' music to us. Good thing there will be $4 margaritas all night.
Saturday night, Doug Callahan of The Fastermores will be playing an acoustic set at Winston's Cafe in Greenbrier. And the rest of the crew will be reppin', unplugged, as well, including Gary and John Paul of Razor Kings, and Mike Gombas of Counterfeit Molly. There could be some surprise appearances, too ...
Also on Saturday night, Larger Than Life is playing at The New Moon Cafe. I know what all you members of the TRL generation thought when you heard the name and, no - it's not a Backstreet Boys cover band. They're a cover band who stresses the harmonies and brings the party. If you want choreographed dancing, it's up to you and your friends.
Chesapeake Bay Wine Classic Foundation is having their 19th Annual Grand Tasting and Wine Classic Chef Smackdown at Virginia Beach Convention Center on Sunday. Thirsty Traveler' Kevin Brauch will emcee as six local chefs take to the stage in an exhilarating contest judged by an elite panel of judges. Click for the list of competing chefs. Purchase tickets and sign up for seminars HERE
And don't forget about the Judeo-Christian Outreach Center's Anniversary Dinner. In case you are not familiar with the JCOC, their mission is to empower homeless families and individuals to recover from crisis situations and return to being self-supporting, productive, and independent members of our community. For $20 you can help others and enjoy great friends and a delicious supper.
After that, you can polish off a few Penthouse Clear Energy Drinks and finish up the weekend at South Beach Grill with Jack Becker.
You might want to call today to schedule your post Sunday Funday Massage at Tru Massage off Holland Road (formerly Zen Massage) where you can receive a fantastic hour long massage for only $39! Be sure to mention VBnightlife when you call! 757-962-2999
Oh, and don't forget next Saturday is Sertoma! Click here to purchase tickets before they sell out!
I know this update was a little short, but short can be good ... like your skirt.
As always, party responsibly and tip well!
