Event Description

Do you ever find yourself missing ska? Then go get your skank on at South Beach Grill tonight with Rude Zombie. Uhh ... we meant skank, like the dance ... not like that. We'll give you time to change back into a classy outfit. http://www.vbnightlife.com/events/rude-zombie-south-beach-grill

Live your life loud with Penthouse Clear Energy Drink! There's a tasting at Garrison's tonight, and the stuff's delicious. But, let's face it - I would drink Kool-Aid laced with cyanide if one of the Penthouse chicks asked me to. http://www.vbnightlife.com/events/love-your-life-loudhttp://www.vbnightlife.com/

Friday night, go watch Carbon Jam at 15th Street Raw Bar and wish you were that cool when you were their age. http://www.vbnightlife.com/events/carbon-jam-15th-street-raw

Oh yeah, it's that time again. That golden time of the year where everyone's Irish, er, I mean drunk. Yeah, St. Patty's day falls on a Wednesday this year, so we're celebrating all weekend. And there is no shortage of stuff to do.

Friday night, the spot to be for green-clad merriment is Shamrockin' in Ghent (formerly known as The Greening of Ghent). Come out and party on Colley Avenue and take in the sounds of the Tidewater Pipe and Drums, followed by The Havens and The DeLoreans. Try not to get arrested. http://www.vbnightlife.com/events/shamrocking-in-ghent-to

Probably the best bet for Saturday is the Ocean View parade. And, if you wanna roll with the VBNightlife crew, there's still room in Scott Newsome's bus that will take you there from the Oceanfront. Hit up nicole@vbnightlife.com for details.

After you make it all the way back to the beach, go check out Skip Friel at New Moon. Be sure to pick up a copy of his new album, "Twilight Red Sky" while you're there. http://www.vbnightlife.com/events/skip-friel-the-new-moon-cafe

And don't party so hard that you can't make it on the actual holiday! On Wednesday, the real St. Pat's party is at Town Point Park with Butter and The DeLoreans. And we have a feeling, just a feeling, that there will be drinks involved, too. http://norfolknightlife.ning.com/events/butter-and-the-deloreans-at
Phew! That's a lot of partying. Feeling a little guilty? Get some culture at Corks and Canvas to benefit Seton Youth Shelters. There will be wine, hors d'oeuvres, jazz, and a silent auction at the Princess Anne Country Club from 3-6 on Sunday.. That ought to recharge your batteries. http://www.vbnightlife.com/events/corks-canvas-to-benefit-seton-1
