DESCRIPTION:Founded in October 2001, Women of Hope Project is a 501(c)
 3 non-profit organization dedicated to restoring hope, dignity and emp
 owerment to Afghan women and children. Our goal is to end hunger and p
 overty by teaching women and providing opportunities to promote self s
 ufficiency and self-esteem.\n\nOur Vision\n\nOur vision is to provide 
 resources to restore hope and dignity and encourage opportunities for 
 self-sufficiency to Afghan women and their families. Our projects prov
 ide training programs and resources supporting daily food and food sec
 urity needs, economic development opportunities, and vocational and bu
 siness training.\n\nOur Mission\n\nThe Women of Hope Project is an org
 anization by women for women to restore hope and dignity to women who 
 have been oppressed and denied personal freedom, health, opportunity, 
 and respect. We hope to create a sisterhood to encourage and provide r
 esources to help these women recover from the traumatic devastation of
  23 years of war.\nThe women of the Women of Hope Project will be the
