Do you have an old television or computer monitor cluttering up your office? How about old cell phones that you don’t know what to do with? The Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center has you covered. The Aquarium, in partnership with City of Virginia Beach Public Works, TFC Recycling, and Goodwill Industries, will offer its semi-annual E-cycling event Saturday, January 23, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Virginia Aquarium East Parking Lot.
Electronic recycling events help to divert electronic waste away from landfills and back into the economy. Since the program’s inception in September 2009, the Aquarium’s e-cycling events have collected nearly 200 tons of electronic material.
