Event Description

On Saturday, Nov. 5, Virginia Beach’s Recycling Team, in partnership with Lynnhaven Mall and WAVY TV-10, will host its annual America Recycles Day event From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in Lynnhaven Mall’s lower level. City representatives, Waste Management’s mascot “RC” and volunteers will motivate, engage, educate, and empower event attendees to reduce, reuse and recycle. Virginia Beach residents are encouraged to attend to learn more about what items can be recycled through the city’s Residential Curbside Recycling program.
