 ll gather in front of the Ocean Beach Club on Sunday October 4, 2009. 
 We will start our walk there and join the Walk to Defeat ALS® at Nept
 une Park on 31st Street.\n\nWhat Time does it start?\nWalker Registrat
 ion starts at 9:00AM adjacent to the 34th Street parking garage. Regis
 tration runs until 10:15 AM.\n\nWhere can I Park?\nIf you need to driv
 e, parking will be provided free of charge at the 34th Street Parking 
 Garage.\n\nWhat happens at Registration?\nAt registration you will sig
 n in and pay your pledge and contribution amounts then you will meet w
 ith your Team Captains and get your team shirts and Beach Party Ticket
 s*\n*As a reminder only those who have signed up and paid a contributi
 on will obtain Beach Party Tickets.\n\nAfter Registration and Before t
 he Walk what should I do?\nWhile we all gather and wait for the start 
 of the JT Walk all participants are invited to a pre-walk reception in
  front of the Ocean Beach Club. It will include entertainment, coffee,
  Danish and refreshments. Take this opportunity and make new friends a
 nd reconnect and celebrate what will be a wonderful event.\n\nWhen & W
 here is the Beach Party?\nThe Beach Party starts right after the finis
 h of the Walk to Defeat ALS®. It will be on the Beach at Neptune’s 
 Park in front of the Hilton Virginia Beach. Reminder that you must hav
 e a ticket to come to the Beach Party.\n\nThe ground breaking & unveil
 ing of the ‘Anticipation’ statue will take place at 1st Street as 
 the midway point of the Walk to Defeat ALS®.\n\nThe 2009 JT Walk & Be
 ach Party Goals:\n\n1. Josh Thompson’s fight for a cure continues (a
 long with all others affected by ALS) and with President Obama signing
  the \"STEM CELL Research Legislation\", now more than ever, research 
 funds are needed.\n\n2. Over 60 families in Hampton Roads fight daily 
 for dignity and quality of life and they need our help! We can help th
 em by donating to our local ALS Chapter.\n\n3. Construct \"Grommet Isl
 and Beach Park & Playground for every-BODY\". As a result of Josh's il
 lness, his friends and family realized that he would never be able to 
 enjoy a day at the beach or play at the park with his two sons. Gromme
