Turkey Trot - 10K Run at Mt. Trashmore

Presented by CSX, traditional family-oriented 10K and Mile Road Races Thanksgiving Morning with start & finish at Mt Trashmore YMCA, Virginia Beach, VA Moderately priced with free online registration. T-shirts for all, ribbons for Mile finishers and unique turkey trophies for overall and age group places

Event Details: Online registration will close Monday 11/19 at 6PM. After that additional runners may register Wednesday at the Mt Trashmore YMCA from 2 – 7PM for $22 or Thursday at the Mt Trashmore YMCA from 7:00 – 8:30AM for $25.

Race Day Schedule Registration Opens: 7:00AM Registration Closes: 8:45AM

1-Mile Run / Walk: 8:15AM

10K Run: 9:00AM

Location

Race day registration and awards ceremony at the Mt. Trashmore YMCA at 4441 South Boulevard, Virginia Beach, VA 23452. Conveniently located off 1-264, take the south Independence Blvd exit, turn left onto Edwin drive, and then left onto South Boulevard.

10K Race Course

The 10K race will begin at the YMCA located on South Blvd and run down to Presidential, onto Colonial Pkwy, Palace Green, Cumberland, Chancellor, William Penn, Palace Green, Windor Woods Blvd, Silina, West Colonial Parkway, South Blvd, through Mt. Trashmore, and back to the YMCA.

1-Mile Course

The I-Mile event will begin and finish at the YMCA and is an out and back on South Blvd.

Packet Pick-up

Late registration and pre-registered packet pick-up will be held Wed., Nov 21st from 1:00 to 7:00 PM at the Mt. Trashmore YMCA on South Boulevard in Virginia Beach. Chip Timing by Winning Time Start and finish line times for the race will be recorded using the Winning Time chip timing system.
