  by friends Rob Oliver (Lead Guitar) and Jon Capparelli (Drummer), aka
  Slippy, for their love and passion of music. Only seeking the best, t
 he duo added in Rich Oliver (Bass), brother to Rob Oliver, to create o
 ne of the most consistent rhythm sections in the Hampton Roads area. B
 y mid February of 2008, Beamon Battie was added as the fourth member a
 nd lead vocalist of “The Retailers”. Prior to coming together, the
 y individually have performed for several successful bands such as: Tw
 o Foot Small, Trampus Hogge, Softstone, Your Biggest Fan, The Epitome,
  PaperCadence, Leverage, Uglyography and Quest, for over 10 years in t
 he local area. The members of “The Retailers” have played in such 
 places as The Norva, Jewish Mother, The Half Shell and H20, opening fo
 r such acts as The Psychedelic Furs, The Connell’s and The Fabulous 
 Thunderbirds. With Rob’s flawless shredding, Rich’s steady groove,
  Slippy’s unyielding beat and Beamon’s strong vocal presence, The 
 Retailers are sure to take you on a voyage through time and music, all
  the while keeping the audience entertained and engaged throughout the
