The Reason For The Season - Noblemen & RTBL Christmas Party

The Noblemen http://www.thenoblemen.org/ and the Roundtable of Business Leaders http://www.theroundtable.biz.com/ kick off the Holiday Season with The Reason For The Season Christmas Party and Toy Drive for local kids.
$50 per person + toy valued at $25 minimum

Beneficiaries: The Noblemen Toy Drive, the Roundtable of Business Leaders Mentoring/Scholarship program and the children of Hampton Roads

Our goal is to raise $50k and 1000 toys. If you are asking yourself how you can get involved, here’s a few ways:

Volunteer your time (or find volunteers) to help with the event on Dec 3rd. We need folks to help taking toys from guests and displaying them. We need folks to help welcome guests. We need folks to help with Silent Auction checkout….and there are other things we need help with. If you are interested in volunteering your time, call Debbie Plunkett at 417-4947 and she will tell you what she needs help with.

Help identify, procure and collect silent auction items. Our organization has thousands of people that we have helped and thousands more who love what we do and how we do it. Many of those people have vacation homes, jewelry, sports memorabilia, restaurant gift certificates, etc. that would raise good money at our silent auction. If you can help with this (and it is one of our biggest needs), please call Jeff Verry at 407-0534.

Sell tickets and corporate Christmas Parties. We have already sold 400 tickets to this event. It is going to be successful and you can be a part of that success. Remember, tickets are only $50 and easy to sell….all people will enjoy the added touch of bringing a toy. If a guest doesn’t have a toy they can buy a gift certificate at the door (for $25 or more) that we can give to older kids at Christmas (which we always need help with.) We also have 7 private rooms that we are using to allow local companies to have their Christmas party inside our Christmas party. We only have 2 rooms left (great job selling the other 5 guys). One is a 150-200 person room and the other can hold up to 40. If you know of someone who wants to throw a small or large Christmas party at our event to save money and give their employees a big time at a great price ($75 per person (no toys required)), have them contact Steve Pniewski at 339-9872. Otherwise, send out this flyer (attached) and send it to your contact list and ask them to support this event….it is that easy.

Find a company or two that would like to sponsor this event. It is shaping up to be the coolest party this season. Corporate sponsors give us the best bang for the buck. We got a $5000 sponsor yesterday and we need to find other Noblemen who will help get more (as many more as we can). If you can help, contact me at 417-4937.

Attend the event and bring your friends. Andy Vakos has made rooms in his hotel (The Oceanfront Inn) available for $70 that night. Have a pre party at a friend’s house with all of your guests and (if you’d like) stay on the oceanfront for the evening OR get a group of 10 tickets (Holiday Sponsor) for $500 and bring your closest friends….or just buy a couple of tickets and enjoy the evening. Just be there!

Join us and you’ll enjoy a full catered buffet, all you can eat sushi, beer and wine (cash bar for drinks), 3 musical acts, the ambiance of the Aquarium and the joy in knowing that you (and your friends) are creating a joyous Christmas for families in Hampton Roads who are really struggling.
