 al restaurants will be presenting their culinary best at the 22nd  an
 nual Taste of Hampton Roads on Tuesday, March 29th,  at the Norfolk W
 aterside Marriott Hotel from 5:30-9:00 p.m.  VIP ticket holders are i
 nvited to attend a pre-Taste reception beginning at 4:30 p.m. There wi
 ll also be musical entertainment by THE RHONDELS and dance performance
 s by the Virginia Beach Shag Club.  It will be a night of feasting an
 d fun in the name of feeding our neighbors in need.  \n \n“Taste o
 f Hampton Roads is the Foodbank’s annual signature event,” says Jo
 anne E. Batson, CEO of the Foodbank. “The restaurants do such amazin
 g work to bring together wonderful creations, our sponsors step up eac
 h year to lend a hand, and the community comes together in an effort t
 o end hunger in our community.”   \n \nThrough this event, we wil
 l be able to distribute more than 382,000 complete and nutritious meal
 s to help feed children, working families and senior citizens througho
 ut Southeastern Virginia.   We invite the community to spend an eveni
 ng “tasting” some of the region’s best culinary delights, while 
 being part of a mission that seeks to provide for the hungry of Southe
 astern Virginia. \nA distinguished panel of judges led by culinary ex
 pert, Patrick Evans-Hylton will be in attendance.  Evans-Hylton is a 
 Johnson & Wales University trained chef, a Hampton Roads-based food jo
 urnalist, educator, activist and historian. He is also food editor at 
 Hampton Roads Magazine and author of the upcoming book, Dishing Up Vir
