Event Description

If going to the movies is a difficult for a member of your family because of his/her disability or behavior challenges, we have a deal for you. Thanks to the generosity of AMC Theaters, you may watch a movie at a real theater and not worry about being too loud, too wiggly, too sensitive to noisy, or even too scared of the dark.

Here’s what we’re talking about:

AMC has agreed to skip the previews, adjust the sound and lights, and tolerate noise and movement from the viewers. Since we’ll be the only ones in the theater, we won’t have to worry about bothering anyone else. AMC popcorn without butter is GFCF, but feel free to bring in your own snacks that are GFCF(AMC ONLY APPROVES OF GFCF SNACKS ONLY BEING BROUGHT INTO THE THEATRE).

We hope that these accommodations mean that families who have hesitated to go to a movie theater will come. Friends and relatives are welcome to join the fun!
