 ed “Star-Spangled” salute to great music from the past and present
 , good food, and our American military! Live entertainment on three ou
 tdoor stages will include The Kingsmen, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Danny 
 & The Juniors, Willie “Big Eyes” Smith, Joey Dee & The Starliters,
  The Yardbirds, and the Michielsen Jazz Ensemble Big Band.\n\nThe Atla
 nta Rhythm Section released 15 albums of excellent original material, 
 and consistently put on entertaining live shows - both of which helped
  establish a broad if not huge fan base. They’ve had some huge hits 
 and been a major player in the Southern Rock scene. Atlanta Rhythm Sec
 tion will be featured on the 31st Street Park stage on Friday, May 28,
  from 9:30pm-11:00pm.\n\nDanny & The Juniors will perform from 9:30pm-
 11:00pm at the 17th Street Park stage on Saturday, May 29. Early in 19
 58 Dick Clark presented Danny & The Juniors a gold record for “At Th
 e Hop” on “American Bandstand,” the first of many awards and acc
 olades they would receive over their career, including Best New Group 
 of 1957 and the prestigious Philadelphia Music Alliance Achievement Aw
 ard more recently. With the success of “At The Hop,” Danny & The J
 uniors began touring with the other early legends and founders of Amer
 ican Rock & Roll such as: Fats Domino, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Jerry
  Lee Lewis, and The Platters. To this day they have traveled millions 
 of miles and entertained millions of people in all fifty states, Canad
 a, Europe, South America and Asia.\n\n\nJoey Dee & The Starliters will
  be featured at the 24th Street Park Stage from 9:30pm-11:00pm on Sund
 ay, May 30. Joey Dee & The Starliters were discovered while working at
  a nightclub called Oliveri's in Lodi, New Jersey, by a New York City 
 agent named Don Davis. They were booked for a weekend at an obscure Ne
 w York City night club called the Peppermint Lounge which was located 
 on West 45th Street. What was to be a weekend stand escalated into a 1
 3-month run! After many decades and many hits, Joey continues to tour 
 regularly around the U.S. and Canada.\n\nMilitary bands to be featured
  at Remember the Music-Remember the Music include the U.S. Fleet Force
