 arley is all about friends and teams, hilarious costumes and amusing 
 group concepts, responsible entertainment. Gnarly Barley is about d
 rinking beer and having a ridiculously good time!  The great thing abo
 ut the Gnarly Barley, other than the obvious, is that it's an extrem
 ely short distance, 2.62 miles (our version of a marathon) which any
 one can complete within an hour. We have  beer stations that are st
 rategically placed at the Starting line and on the race route where pa
 rticipants get to indulge in 4-5 ounces of beautiful beer on a trek t
 o the Finish Line where a full beer awaits you. In addition to a comp
 letely unique experience, every runner (walker, crawler, skipper,) rec
 eives a Custom Finishers Medal (that doubles as a bottle opener…no
 , really) and a one of a kind race t shirt.  Gnarly Barley is a soci
 al race. Yes, some of you will be using your nifty GPS watches to see 
 how long it took you to complete this outrageous race, but we have way
  more fun with our Extracurricular Awards. Winners of categories such
  as Best Mustache (real & fake versions), Best Team Concept,  Sho
 rt Shorts (unfortunately, dudes usually win this one…so disturbing)
