Noblemen 2nd Annual Kentucky Derby Party - to benefit Hope House

You are invited to the 2nd Annual Noblemen Kentucky Derby Party Saturday May 2nd. The Noblemen (www.thenoblemen.org) and the Hope House Foundation (www.hope-house.org) are teaming up again to throw the party of the year in Norfolk. It's time for the girls to throw on your sundresses and big hats and for the guys to grab your sunglasses and head outdoors for a day of horse racing, drinking, and live music on the Lafayette River.

This is THE event in Norfolk in the Springtime as everyone parties all day outside to celebrate the Running of the Roses and the beginning of spring. The Derby Party will include the race on two giant outdoor projection screens, all you can drink beer and wine, all you can eat southern style buffet, silent auction, Big Hat Contest, cornhole, and live music. The Kentucky Derby is the premiere outdoor event in the spring and the Noblemen and Hope House Foundation are bringing the experience to Norfolk.

Last year's party was a huge success and this year will be even bigger and better. Ticket sales will be cut off at 500 and we will party rain or shine as the race will be shown outside under the big white tent. This is the biggest Kentucky Derby party in Norfolk. The minimum donation price for a ticket is $55 and it's all inclusive. Tickets are available by clicking on the "buy now" button on the website http://www.thenoblemen.org/kentucky_derby_party_2009/

You can also pick up tickets at Provisions located at 323 W. 21st in Norfolk or by emailing George Fox at george@wheelerrec.com. I will mail tickets out today in return for a check made out to The Noblemen. Tickets will be collected at the gate and will automatically be entered into a raffle to win the grand prize given to one partygoer who picks the winning horse. The more the merrier so spread the word and forward this to anyone looking for something fun to do outside on Saturday May 2nd. As always, all proceeds go to charity.
