Event Description

This July 4th, celebrate your independence by getting out of town. You are invited to come down to Heritage Park in Corolla for the 19th Annual Independence Day Festival of Fireworks.

Currituck County Travel and Tourism is sponsoring the Corolla 4th of July Celebration and Fireworks show in the beautiful, soundfront Heritage Park in Corolla, NC. Festivities begin around 5:00pm. Come out for a great day of family fun with kids activities, games and prizes, a cornhole tournament, a variety of good food and entertainment by "mOcean" from 5:30 to 7:30. Then stick around for one of the most spectacular Fireworks shows on the Outer Banks around 9:00 pm.

The Currituck Lighthouse is open for climbing :)
