Cooke Elementary School PTA.\n\nAs a former public school English Teacher, Camden understands the necessity for strong and positive communications, both internally and externall y. With 16 years of academic operational management experience, Camden respects and expects smart money management, student success, and acc ountability as a result of motivated and appreciated teachers, adminis trators, and support teams. As an Eagle Scout and the son of a Navy of ficer, he was instilled with the qualities of leadership and service, which has lead to his success today. Cox High School graduate (class of 1983). He graduated from East Carolina University in 1987 with a Bachelors of A rts degree with a concentration in writing. Due to his passion for edu cation, he finished training for his Secondary English Teaching Certif ication in 1991. In 1995, Michael completed his MBA in Management. Aft er teaching English in the Prince George’s County (MD) Public School System, Camden moved on to a very long and  successful career in Uni versity operational leadership and administrative management. Currentl y, Michael works in the public relations field as Client Relations and Business Development Representative for Managing Communications Consu lting. Camden’s wife, Suzanne Slack, graduated from Princess Anne H igh School and East Carolina University. Their daughter, Caroline, is a rising 3rd grader at W.T.
