 fill the room with sound and fun!\n\n“Jammin’ for Our Homeless” 
 to Benefit B.E.A.C.H. and Homeless Community. The faith community, loc
 al businesses and nonprofit organizations will be “Jammin’ for Our
  Homeless” on Friday, June 4, to benefit homeless and at-risk famili
 es and individuals in Virginia Beach. The event will be held from 8 to
  11 p.m. at the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront.\n\nAll proceeds will
  go directly to the BEACH Community Partnership.\n\nA recent study est
 imates that 4,300 people in Virginia Beach will experience homelessnes
 s each year. “Jammin’ for Our Homeless,” which is made possible 
 by the generosity of local band Guava Jam and the Oceanfront Hilton, i
 s an opportunity to rally community support to end homelessness in the
  city and draw more attention to this issue.\n\n“Guava Jam is made u
 p of people of faith and enjoys helping nonprofit organizations raise 
 awareness and funds for their causes,” says band member Matt Breiten
 berg. “We hope the event will not only raise funds to help BEACH acc
 omplish its goals, but that it will also encourage people to get invol
 ved in caring for those in need.”\n\nB.E.A.C.H. – Bringing an End 
 to All City Homelessness – is a community partnership between citize
 ns and faith, business, nonprofit and city organizations. The partners
 hip seeks to better address homelessness through enhanced cooperation 
 and communication, coordinated service delivery, resource development 
 and new strategies.\n\n“Individually, each entity has made an impact
  on the homeless community, but BEACH believes we can achieve much mor
 e by working together,” says Housing and Neighborhood Preservation D
 irector Andrew Friedman.\n\n“Jammin’ for Our Homeless” will feat
 ure live entertainment by Guava Jam, dancing, and light hors d’oeuvr
