DESCRIPTION:Heather Jeanette has a unique sound stemming from her wide
  range of influences of classic rock, pop, jazz, country music and eve
 rything in between. Born and raised in Virginia, Heather Jeanette Mile
 y started dabbling in music at the young age of 7 with piano and then 
 the violin at age 11. But it wasn't until she picked up the guitar tha
 t she started to get serious about music. Her first experience with si
 nging and playing the guitar came at a beauty pageant in which she had
  to have a talent. She decided with the encouragement of her father to
  sing and play guitar. Winning the talent competition made her realize
  her gift. Soon she started writing her own songs. At the age of 15, s
 he recorded her first 3 song demo and started playing her music at tal
 ent shows in school. Soon after Heather Jeanette attended Berklee Coll
 ege of Music's Summer Performance Program in 2003. She immediately fel
 l in love with the school and got a chance to perform on stage in fron
 t of about 2000 family and friends. The school opened up her eyes to s
 o much more great music and there was no question in where she would a
 ttend college. Spending only 2 1/2 years racing through the program an
 d even singing for the hard rock band Tobacco Mosaic, she found her st
 yle and earned a Bachelor of Music degree with a concentration in Musi
 c Business/Management. After returning home she dropped her last name,
  Miley, recorded a three song demo with Soul Haven Studios and has bee
 n gigging out ever since. Heather Jeanette is currently working on mat
 erial for her full length album.\n\nTHE BAND\nThe Heather Jeanette Ban
 d is made up of Heather Jeanette on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Bra
 d Garrett on electric guitar and vocals, Steve Jones on bass and vocal
 s, and Dave Longfellow on drums and vocals. The band can be found play
 ing around the Hampton Roads area playing your favorite top 40 pop/roc
