  Virginia Beach celebrates the sights and sounds of the Latin experien
 ce. Based on a popular Latin festival in Miami, the Virginia Beach ver
 sion retains the key ingredients of good food, family participation, a
 nd first-rate Latin music.\nNational performers electrify the diverse 
 audience with high-energy tunes that move the crowd to dance under the
  stars. Local and regional Latin acts (each with their own loyal fan b
 ase) take the stage and unite festival-goers with the rhythms of Salsa
 , Merengue, and Jazz.\nLocos Por Juana, one of the hottest Latin alter
 native rock bands in the United States, takes the stage on Friday, Jun
 e 11, from 9:30pm-11:00pm. This multinational Miami-based band combine
 s infectious energy with Latin rhythms from the Caribbean and South Am
 erica, as well as reggae, hip hop, and American funk. In December of 2
 008, Locos Por Juana was nominated for “Best Latin Rock or Alternati
 ve Album” for their album titled La Verdad.\nMala Fe’s “Con Su L
 oquera” hit the charts, peaking at number five on Billboard’s Lati
 n/Salsa charts. Mala Fe takes the stage on Saturday, June 12, from 9:3
 0pm-11:00pm.\n\nAdditional activities include the Zumba Fitness Marath
 on, a 3-hour Latin-inspired, easy-to-follow fitness routine led by Mas
 ter Level Zumba Instructor Liana Veda. Door prizes and awards will be 
 featured. The Zumba Fitness Marathon will be held from 8:30am-11:30am 
 on Saturday, June 12. The 2010 Latin Fest Domino Competition, beginnin
 g at 1:30pm on Saturday, June 12, is open to players of all levels. Tr
 ophies will be awarded at the end of the day. Both the Zumba Fitness M
 arathon and the Domino Competition are free to the public. On-site reg
 istration is required, however.\n\nThe Hardee’s Latin Fest is a free
