Event Description

The Annual Chili Cook-off and Car Show “It’s a Family Affair” festivities begin Saturday, Oct. 9 at Naval Air Station Oceana Main Gate Park from Noon - 4 p.m. Groove to live music as more than 20 local military teams will compete for “Best Chili in the Fleet.”

The car show features competitions in eight different classes of vehicles. Children can enjoy games, face painting and a pumpkin patch. Entertainment by U.S. Fleet Forces Jazz Ensemble.Tiffany Jones and Dave Cynar Free and open the public. Call 462-7408 to register a vehicle for the car show. For chili cook-off entries call 462-7540.
