 eet Week Beach Bash.”\n\n\n\nFleet Week honors the long-standing rel
 ationship between the community and the Navy men and women stationed i
 n the region through events open to the military and the general publi
 c.\n\n\n\nThis signature event is the kick off for Fleet Week 2009. He
 ld at 31st Street Park from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., this event will show
 case a variety of entertainment and activities for the public to help 
 celebrate our Navy community here in Hampton Roads. Along with disting
 uished guest speakers, the event will also host the annual Navy’s Ch
 ili Cook Off. (The 1st time the Cook Off has been held on the beach!)\

 upport of the City of Virginia Beach, the Navy League, and our present
 ing sponsor, USA Discounters. We felt it was time that our community s
 tepped up to celebrate our Navy men and women during their week of cel
