Five Points Community Farm Market - N *HOMEGROWN LOCAL ZONE MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL*

Friday, October 2 -Starting at 5:00 and continuing until 7 p.m., the Market will host a Wine & Cheese Open House to benefit The Market. Light Jazz & Blues entertainment will be provided by Amy Ferebee & Regina Scott Sanford as well as Jackie Merritt.

As the sun sets, around 7:30 p.m., set up a lawn chair and join us for a "Sit In Movie" in the back parking lot. The True Cost of Food, a 15 minute cartoon from the Sierra Club, opens followed by a family favorite, "Ratatouille." Our Kettle Corn Guys will be popping fresh popped corn and drinks will be available for purchase.

Saturday, October 2 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. You'll find displays of local artists and crafters accompanied by local musicians both inside and out at the Farm Market. Fresh local produce cooking demonstrations will be presented by our Get Fresh Cafe Chef, T.J. Thompson as well as personal chef Geri Spruill and Chef Damon Armstrong. Jefferson Vineyards will be the featured vineyard with homegrown Norfolkian Andy Reagan, the winemaker, offering samples and sales of some of Virginia's finest wines. Virginia & regional beers will be available to sample as well. You will also be able to chat with local farmers and learn more about local honey from our local beekeepers.
