July 4th Celebration at the Oceanfront - FIREWORKS POSTPONED TO SATURDAY - BAND SCHEDULE ADJUSTED

A few revisions to the Stars & Stripes Explosion (4^th of July) event at the Virginia Beach oceanfront have been made in response to potential weather complications this weekend.

The fireworks show has been moved to Saturday night at 9:30pm.  Saturday night's fireworks launch will be dependent on satisfactory weather AND sea conditions.

Friday, July 4

17th Street Park:

8:00pm-10:30pm, Chester B’s Motown Tribute Show

24th Street Park:

8:00pm-10:30pm, Bruce in the USA (Bruce Springsteen tribute show)

31st Street Park:

8:00pm-10:30pm, 52^nd Street (tribute to Billy Joel) and Captain Fantastic (tribute to Elton John)

Saturday, July 5

17^th Street Park:

8:00pm-10:45pm, Tidewater Drive Band

20^th Street Stage on the Beach:

8:00pm-9:30pm, Symphonicity and the Virginia Beach Chorale

9:30pm, Fireworks (fireworks launch is dependent upon satisfactory weather and sea conditions)

24^th Street Park:

8:00pm-10:30pm, The English Channel

31^st Street Park:

7:00pm-11:00pm, Bobby Blackhat Band
