As you can see in the map below, our Team (VBnightlife is a sub team of "JTs Grommet Island") has a very visible registration area that will stretch across Atlantic Avenue at 34th Street just to the West of the Ocean Beach Club. Please be there at 9:30 to register. We will be dressing as TACKY TOURISTS to join the Suzanne and Bill Gooch Team OR wearing the VBnightlife Tshirt pictured here. Registration ends at 10:30 when we will begin to lineup on the boardwalk to proceed towards the Hilton and the Walk start at 11 AM at 30th Street. There will be food, refreshments and a band (CHEAP THRILLS starting at 10:30) in the parking lot to the South of Ocean Beach Club. The Walk should last until around 1 PM.
There will be a table set up at Grommet Island on 1st Street where each Walker will get a free ticket good for the refreshment of your choice at Mahi-Mahs (Sunday only) where the band Carbon Jam is playing (11:30 to 1pm). The Beach Party will open at 12:30 with Right On playing from 1-2:30, Disco Sensation from England Percy and Levi 2:30-3 and Butter playing from 3:30-5 PM. The Busch Gardens animal show, "What Do You Find in a Rainforest", will also start on the Neptune Park stage at 12:30 and run until about 1:45. The Kids Park on the Beach, with entertainers, cotton candy, inflatables/bounce houses, etc., will open at 1 PM. And King Neptune's Treasure Hunt will begin at 2:30 for special needs children, followed by separate hunts on dedicated "mountains" for kids ages 3-5, 6-9 and 10-12.
