  beginning with a benefit for “Bra-ha-ha to be held at the Richard S
 travitz 30th St Gallery in Virginia Beach on Thursday October 10.\n
  We are thrilled to announce that the opening night of Runway Shows w
 ill be in Virginia Beach on October 10 at the Richard Stravitz Gall
 ery, corner of 30thand Pacific, one block from the Oceanfront.  That 
 night will be a “pink” event, part of a Breast Cancer Awareness ca
 mpaign and will feature the “Bra-ha-ha” on the runway as well as r
 unway shows not only spotlighting designers but also locally owned bou
 tiques.  The title of the October 10 show is “Beauty and the Beac
 h” with the focus on swimwear and party/cocktail attire.   Highlig
 hts will be the collection Lizzi London and swimwear designs JB5 from 
 Puerto Rico and Loja Leblon from Brazil.  We’ll also feature locall
 y owned Virginia Beach Boutiques Meg’s, Esme, and Haute Swan as well
  as styles from two of our vendors Yatra Collection and Evangeline’s
  Closet.  Of course, one of the highlights of the past four seasons h
 as been the presentation of “Bra-ha-ha” on the runway and this yea
 r’s collection of bras will most definitely be stunning!\n From Fr
 iday through Snday, the Colonial Capital will come alive with fashion
  as VA Fashion Week showcases over 25 designers including some excitin
 g new talent as well as returning favorites.\nOur lineup this year inc
 ludes Angela Bacskocky from Richmond who appeared in Season 12 of Proj
 ect Runway, exquisite DC based designer Michael Carter, the return of 
 Michael Taylor with his Chanle’ Encore collection, Evgenia Luzhina-S
 alazar, Gohar Ayvazyan Beaver,  Mikasa La’Charles, and Azi Blas. \
 n Also returning to show at VA Fashion Week:  Brehon Williams, Willi
 e Charles, Jennifer Carpenter, Carlyle Williams, Gwendolyn Wilson, Chr
 istina Grehan and Allyson Ritchie.\n Expect to see some new talent am
 ong the designers as well.  New designers showing include Samantha Sm
 ith, Chrissy Crawford, Alli Meraki and Victoria Reed.   Also making 
 their Virginia debut is the Yatra Collection, now based in Yorktown bu
 t founded by designers from India. \n Our Saturday shows will also
  feature musical performances by Payton Johnson, K’Bana Blaq, and 11
  year old Gabrielle Pinkney who will open the Children’s segment whi
 ch will also feature fashions from C&C Sandbox, Pretty Patty, JAdore�
