SUMMARY:East Coast Surfing Championships
DESCRIPTION: \nECSC events are held from 1st Street to 11th Street at
  the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Pro and Amateur surfing is contested b
 y the Rudee Inlet Jetty at 2nd Street; the Main Stage music venue is l
 ocated between 4th and 5th Streets. The Volleyball Tournament is stage
 d from 6th Street through 9th streets.\n\nThe Coastal Edge East Coast 
 Surfing Championships is a major professional and amateur event for t
 he United States Surfing Federation. Each year, several hundred surfe
 rs from menehunes to masters compete for East Coast surfing titles, p
 rizes, history and the sheer love of surfing. Other beach oriented spo
 rts and recreation include skimboarding, volleyball, a boardwalk 5K r
 un, street skate and ramp contests, swimsuit contests, food and drink
