Earth Day Festivities Return to Mount Trashmore

With live music, food and activities for children, this annual community favorite offers fun, earth-friendly activities for the entire family.

Join Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation and the Virginia Beach Clean Community Commission in celebrating Earth Day 2014 on Saturday, May 3 at Mount Trashmore Park (one of the nation’s first recycled landfills) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. 

Some highlights for this year’s event feature:

AAA Recycling Zone (10 a.m. — 2 p.m., enter from South Boulevard)
