DESCRIPTION:On the weekend of Friday, September 11 and Saturday, Septe
 mber 12, 2009, the Club will host the 22nd Annual “Chukkers for Char
 ity” Polo Match. Proceeds from this year’s event will go to benefi
 t Hope House Foundation, a local non-profit organization providing ind
 ependent living serves to adults with developmental disabilities.\n\nT
 he event kicks off with a Meet the Players’ Party on Friday, Septemb
 er 11th from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Town Center City Club. Thi
 s occasion presents an excellent opportunity to intimately meet the yo
 ung men of the British Forces Foundation Polo Team, as well as, local 
 Club players. There will be food and beverages and good music. Tickets
  to the Player’s Party event are $75/per person or $100/per couple.\
 n\nThe gates at Alpha Omega Farm will open at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, S
 eptember 12th the polo matches begin at 3:00 p.m. The first match will
  be played by local players, followed by the main match between the Br
 itish Military Polo Team and the Virginia Beach Polo Club. The event i
 s followed by the Patrons’ Party, which includes a buffet dinner wit
 h music by F.A.B. (formerly Fat Ammons Band). Match tickets are $20.00
  in advance or $25.00 at the gate and Patrons’ Party tickets are ava
 ilable for $40.00 in advance or $50.00 at the matches.\n\nAwards will 
 be presented for Best Dressed Male, Best Dressed Female, Best Dressed 
 Child, Best Hat and Best Tailgate. There will be lots of children’s 
 activities, including pony rides and an antique train ride. There is a
 mple free parking, but for $50 you may want to park your car along fie
 ld side where you’ll find all the action.\n\nSo mark your calendars
