ELIMINATING POVERTY HOUSING IN HAMPTON ROADS The Fuller Center for Housing Partners with BD’s Mongolian Grill to Combat Poverty

The Fuller Center for Housing is a worldwide, non-profit, housing ministry working to eliminate poverty housing around the globe. Working in over 50 cities across the United States and in 15 countries across the world, volunteers work with donated materials to build and repair homes for the elderly, disabled, and impoverished among us. The Fuller Center for Housing (FCH) of Hampton Roads was established in the summer of 2009, and is working to bring help and hope to families in need in our area

BD’s Mongolian Grill in Hampton’s Peninsula Town Center opened their doors in December 2009 and immediately donated $1000 to the Foodbank of the Virginia Peninsula. Continuing with their commitment to community improvement, BD’s is now partnering with FCH of Hampton Roads on March 10 from 6-8 pm. FCH volunteers will serve as “Guest Grillers” and will prepare Mongolian dishes for visitors, as well as raffle off door prizes. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to FCH of Hampton Roads and will be used for home repairs for our neighbors affected by the housing crisis.
