Event Description

Established by the Virginia Beach Jaycees in 2005, the Surfing Legends of ECSC Hall of Fame consists of men and women who have helped the sport of surfing from Hampton Roads and along the East Coast. Legends are individuals who have also played a role in the growth and success of the annual CE ECSC presented by Vans

Six individuals will be inducted into the Surfing Legends of ECSC Hall of Fame as the annual weeklong summer beach sports festival gears up at the oceanfront. They are: John Holland, Cecil Lear, Heather "Mimi" Murno, Roger "Buddy" Riggs, Lee Tolliver & Paul West.

A special induction ceremony will take place in their honor at the Virginia Aquarium on Wednesday, August 22 at 6:30 p

  • $35 per person
  • Doors open at 6:30
  • Red Carpet Cocktails 7:00
  • Casual/beach attire – favorite flip-flops/Hawaiian shirt
  • Program begins promptly at 7:30 (seating is limited)
  • Heavy hors d’oeuvres
  • Live Music by Ray and the Ultraviolets
  • Tour Aquarium
