 c. (CASA) is hosting its annual celebration and fundraiser on Saturday
 , May 21, 2011 at the Princess Anne Country Club (please go to www.vir
 giniabeachcasa.org for more info). There will be a live and silent auc
 tion and raffle baskets at this year's event. There will also be a put
 ting contest for a chance to win an awesome prize.Tickets are $70 each
  until May 13 when they increase to $85. The event begins at 7:30PM an
 d ends at midnight. There is FREE beer and wine and great food from th
 e Princess Anne Country Club. The band Ten Spot will be performing.As 
 you may know, the mission of CASA is to provide caring, well-trained v
 olunteers to advocate for safe, permanent homes for the abused and neg
 lected children of Virginia Beach. CASA volunteers are members of the 
 community who receive extensive education and training to advocate for
  children who - through no fault of their own - are thrust into juveni
 le and domestic relations court and often, into foster care. CASA volu
 nteers watch over and advocate for these children to make sure they do
 n't get lost in an overburdened system. Their ultimate responsibility 
 is to promote safe, permanent homes for abused and neglected children.
 Thanks to the love and dedication of the volunteers, many of these inn
 ocent child victims are helped. Over 2,000 children in Virginia Beach 
 have benefited from having CASA advocacy efforts over the years, and w
 e look forward to helping many more children in the future.Please let
