9th Annual Autism Awareness & 1 Mile Fun Run for Kids

Please come out and join the Autism Society, Tidewater Virginia for our largest fundraising event of the year! Let's bring in Autism Awareness Month with a great event!

The Autism Society, Tidewater Virginia is a locally funded organization that celebrates over 30 years of dedication towards improving the lives of all affected by autism. Autism Society, Tidewater Virginia strives to enhance community awareness, provide education for professionals, and parents, and maintain supportive, informative networks comprised of parents, professionals, and community leaders. Proceeds from this event will help local families facing autism. With every participant, we move a little closer to more awareness, more help for individuals with autism to achieve a better quality of life, and ultimately improving the lives of all affected by autism.

Fees

5K Run/Walk -$35 until March 21st; $40 thereafter (includes 5K Technical Shirt and Finisher Medal)

Kids 1 Mile Fun Run-$15 until March 21^st; $20 thereafter (includes T-Shirt and Finisher Medal)

5K shirts only guranteed to the first 400 registrants!

Time Details

Kid’s 1-Mile Fun Run starts 8:00 a.m. 5k Run/Walk starts at 8:30 am. Celebration to follow with music by DJ Wize, awards,  kid activities, and refreshments!  Strollers/Wheelchairs are allowed, but are asked to start at the back of the pack! No pets allowed to participate in 5K Run or Fun Run unless service animal.

Family Activities!

 8:45 a.m. to 11am. Kid Activities, face painting, raffles, prizes and much, much more!!
